This policy explains what information is collected when you use ClearMoneyCalcs (“we”, “us”), how it is used and the choices you have.

Information you enter into calculators

Calculations happen in your browser. The numbers you type (loan amounts, salaries, rates) are not sent to or stored on our servers. Your inputs may appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share a result; anyone you share that link with will see those numbers.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of a visit. This is used to keep the site secure and running.

We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used and how visitors find us. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. We do not use it to identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps the site free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The calculators work without cookies, but blocking them may affect the ads you see.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. Because we do not collect names, emails or calculator inputs, most requests will concern data held by Google; you can manage that through the links above. For anything else, contact us.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our pages may link to other sites, such as government sources. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
